Drawing inspiration from the traditional houses of Alentejo, Les Terraces is designed in collaboration with Aires Mateus & reinterprets ancient forms, modern lines and natural elements. Just twenty minutes away from the village of cool Comporta, sink into the quiet tranquillity and serene harmony that seeking out hideaways away from the buzz allows. Four separate volumes are wrapped in light and shadow & inside, clear and concise rooms have large glass doors that invite the outdoors in.
The three smaller buildings act as independent bungalows, each housing a double bedroom & en-suite bathroom. Small covered terraces with sea views stretch out to the West or glance East for vistas of the garden and orchards of olive, lemon and orange trees. The main house serves as the common living area & is bright and spacious, comprising a kitchen, dining room and a fourth suite. Completing the set, a heated swimming pool that reaches 18 meters long overlooks the cork orchard below, offering plenty of space to relax.
