An Iberian Adventure
A journey across borders, through Portugal’s Algarve into Spanish Andalusia is the perfect way to tick off two creative and culinary cultures in a single trip. One which blends both stylish and sustainable hotels with foodie forays and farm-to-table fare.

Porto - Douro - Porto
The Douro has traditionally offered two resting options to taste-hunting travellers seeking sumptuous oeno-experiences; somewhat tired and traditional quintas or hyper-modern ‘wine-tourism’ hotels where style comes second…but hidden on the hills are a new guard of independent hoteliers cultivating an altogether more stylish and sustainable vision of what sip trips should look like.
Winding out of Porto, we’ll send you first to one of Portugal’s most innovative producers and only mainland tea plantations. We’ll arrange a private tour and tasting so you can understand this unique gastronomic heritage before your immersion into the world of wine.
Our first stop in the Douro is a fourth-generation family-owned farm perched right on the river and been recently renovated by a young Portuguese architect. A kitchen garden supplies a field-to-fork restaurant and a so stay here is equally heartwarming and terroir-based.
Winding west, check in next at an understated 8-room hotel with eclectic interiors by a Parisian set-designer filled with whimsical art, bespoke furniture & mid-century ceramics.
On your journey we’ll connect you with a group of wine experts and sommeliers who have an intricate network of only organic, natural and low-intervention winemakers who take a sustainable stance when it comes to creating a responsible future for the Douro. They will guide you off-the-beaten-wine-path, skipping the corporate Port houses all-together.
